One arrested in EKY stabbing

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – The Prestonsburg Police Department arrested one person in connection to a stabbing at Skeen’s Marathon in Floyd County.

Police arrested Wesley Gatlin, 36, of Louisville, at the Alpike Motel in Ivel.

According to an arrest citation, the incident happened on Friday, Aug. 30.

Gatlin was charged with first-degree assault and is being held in the Floyd County Jail.
