Putin talks about his “favorite president” in the USA

A smiling Vladimir Putin said in an interview during the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia, that Russia would support Kamala Harris.

The Russian president also spoke of Ms Harris’s “infectious laughter” and criticized former President Donald Trump’s sanctions against the country.

Putin’s comments were met with criticism. John Kirby, spokesman for the US Security Council, said: “Mr Putin should stop talking about our elections, period. He should not favor anyone one way or the other.”
