Man dies after shooting on Winchester Road, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead.

Around 2:49 pm, officers responded to a shooting on Winchester Road near Airways Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they discovered that one man had been shot.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition; it was later confirmed that the victim had died from his injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.
