Police find body in Ohio River

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville police found a body floating in the Ohio River Thursday night.

At around 7 p.m., police received a call reporting a suspected human body floating in the river near 9th Street and I-64. The River Unit and Louisville Fire Department responded and found a human body in the river near 10th Street and Rowan at around 8 p.m.

LMPD said it cannot determine the person’s age, gender or race at this time. Homicide detectives are currently conducting a death investigation.
