Police find man shot dead in row house in Houston’s fourth district

HOUSTON – Houston police said a man was found dead in a Fourth Ward row house Wednesday night.

It happened in the 1400 block of Cook Street at Wilson Street.

Police said they were called to the townhouse to check on the man’s welfare after family members were unable to reach the man. When they arrived, they found the front door unlocked.

When they entered the building, they found the man dead and with numerous gunshot wounds.

Investigators go to the crime scene and look for witnesses or surveillance videos.
