Police: Couple tried to steal carts from Washington County Fair

Two men are accused of attempting to steal a maintenance truck from the Washington County Fairgrounds.

Octavian S. Dudley, 18, of Watervliet, and Tyreem J. Gardner, 20, of Ballston Spa, were stopped by fair employees in the parking lot, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, the car was worth more than $3,000.

Both were charged with grand theft. They were released and will appear in Easton court at a later date.
