Meet the cruise passengers stranded in Belfast

Cruise passengers are making the most of an unexpected moment in Belfast after their trip was marred by delays.

Passengers on the Odyssey of Villa Vie Residences have been stranded for three months.

The ship arrived at Queen’s Island in Northern Ireland’s capital to be fitted out ahead of its scheduled departure on May 30 for the first leg of a three-year round-the-world cruise.

But it still hasn’t left because of problems with its rudders and gearbox.
