Registered sex offender on federal probation arrested for repeat offense in ENC

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC (WITN) – A Roanoke Rapids man who is a registered sex offender due to his 2018 conviction in federal court for receiving child pornography has been arrested again after he uploaded child sexual abuse material to a website, according to authorities.

According to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, a search of 37-year-old Christopher Skipper’s home resulted in numerous items being seized, leading to ten counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Skipper is being held at the Halifax County Detention Center on $1 million bail.

This case remains under investigation and further charges are possible.
