Three teenagers arrested for burglary and car theft

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Owensboro Police officials say three juveniles are in jail for multiple car thefts and a burglary in July.

According to police, officers were able to identify the juvenile suspects in several cases. They were taken into custody on Tuesday.

During the investigation, officers discovered that three cars had been stolen and a fourth car had been stolen and had damaged the steering column.

According to authorities, all three teens were charged for their involvement in the car thefts and for the damage caused during the attempted theft of the fourth car.

Two of the teens were also charged in the July 17 break-in at Super A Food Mart.

The two teens are charged with first-degree criminal damage for returning to Super A Food Mart on August 20 and destroying the front door.

All three suspects are being held at the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.
